BUTTERFLY VALVES
Introduced    in  1976  in  technical 
association  with    J.   Blakeborough 
&  Sons  Ltd.  butterfly   valves   are 
based     upon     the    well    proven 
conesphere design. Special geometry 
of disc, shaft and seat gives tight shut 
off with   metal  to  rubber  faces. The 
valves are suitable for   isolation and/
or flow  regulation within properly 
defined system  characteristics,  permitting flow in either direction. These valves can be operated by manual, electric, or pneumatic actuators as specified by client.
 
 
CHECK VALVES
IVC hydrodynamically proven check valves have been specially developed for morden high velocity conditions on pump discharge and public utility service and are suitable for wide range of applications. Foot valves (single door type) in size ranging from 50 mm to 300 mm.
SLUICE VALVES
This proven IVC design is produced in a full range of size, with inside or outside screw and to withstand all generally required working pressure and varieties. These are of solid wedge gate construction with cast iron body and brass/ gun-mental trim (or in a variety of other material specifications to order). End connection: Flanged end for water works service. Specials to suit clients requirement of material and duty conditions have also been supplied.
Amongst many optional features available are anti-friction thrust bearing, gun-mental shoe and channel guide and power operation (electric or pneumatic), open and sealed type gear box, by-pass valve, gate travel indicator.
SINGLE FACED SLUICE
For wall mounting at intake or discharge, or for open channels or closed conduits, available with circular, square or rectangular opening. They can be supplied with rising or non-rising spindle and wherever necessary with suitable floor mounted headstocks with extension stems, couplings (torsional or tensional) and guide brackets.
Standard cast iron s/f/s range with brass/gun-metal trim:
Operation can be maual (spur, bevel or worm gear, depending upon size) or through an electric actuator.
CHECK VALVES
IVC hydrodynamically proven check valves have been specially developed for modern high velocity conditions on pump discharge and public utility service and are suitable for a wide range of applications.

AIR VALVES
These automatic valves find application in two distinct water main requirements:
1) Discharge of air while filling of pipe and admission of air when the main is being emptied. Here, a relatively large orifice is used, giving a high rate of discharge or in-flow. Buoyant ball in water seals the orifice when the main filling is complete and is held there by the line pressure until such time as the main is shut for emptying.
2) Discharge of air released during operation of main under pressure. Here, the ball leves its seating under pressure when the water in the chamber is displaced by accumulated air.
