Heavy Duty UPS 15KVA - 1 PHASE

Heavy Duty UPS 15KVA - 1 PHASE

Why use a heavy duty UPS?

UPS is short for Uninterruptible Power Supply , allows electrical load to keep running and provides power in the event of a power failure.

A UPS system utilizes DC power stored in the battery as its backup source. During normal operation, the power from AC mains is directly supplied to the output through a static transfer switch. At the same time, the AC is converted to DC to charge battery. When there is a power outage and primary supply breaks, the battery stops charging and the static switch transfers the output line to the inverter side very quickly. At the same time, the inverter starts drawing current from the battery which is then supplied to the AC load.

Su-vastika uses advanced Static switches in its Heavy Duty UPS that reduces switching time to just 2ms to 5ms , which is fast enough to prevent a computer and majority of sensitive equipment from resetting. Because of its strong R&D and experience of its able Mentor, Su-vastika understands the power back up need of its customers across industries and most importantly it’s our Patent Technology as well.

It has designed a range of state-of-the-art Heavy-Duty UPS starting from 6.5KVA to 15KVA (1 Phase) that provides.

What is the life of the Heavy-Duty UPS compared to the Generator?

The Heavy-Duty UPS can work smoothly for 50 years with very little maintenance.

The Generator on the other hand has a life span of only 10 years and requires regular maintenance on an average of 250Hrs-500Hrs because of its moving parts.

Is it necessary to keep an attendant on site?

Unlike a Generator where an attendant is mandatory to be on duty but for our Heavy duty UPS we don’t recommend having any attendant. However, we offer training to the maintenance staff so that it’s easy for them to maintain without attending the Heavy duty UPS on a continuous basis.

Is the UPS system as noisy and polluting as the Generator?

Not at all. Generators are notorious for being noisy and causing a lot of pollution due to diesel usage, however our Heavy-Duty UPS works on batteries and has smooth noiseless operation and is completely pollution free.
